CEPC regional office starts functioning from Srinagar

first_imgIn order to assist the artisans and Member Exporters of handmade carpets and other floor coverings from J&K, the regional office of CEPC – which was formally inaugurated by Smriti Zubin Irani, Union Minister of Textiles, Women and Child Development and in the presence of Shantmanu, IAS Development Commissioner (Handicraft) on February 23 – is fully functional, with a nearly hired full time staff, at IICT Campus, Nowshera, Srinagar.The ministry of textiles through the office of the development Commisioner Handicrafts has been instrumental in opening up of this office.
