To date, Giveacar has organised donations to more than 2,500 UK charities. Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the most popular charities within the service, and has so far received £63,000.Over the past year, Giveacar, which was founded in 2010, has diversified and now works in partnership with housing associations to help them dispose of abandoned vehicles.Giveacar has also championed its own charitable projects, raising money to build a new school in Burma, as well as launching special appeals for Gurkha Welfare Trust, Help Refugees and Brixton Soup Kitchen.Patrick Church, manager of Giveacar, said:“We base our success first and foremost on maximising donations to a wide range of charities.
