Related Items: Facebook Twitter Google+LinkedInPinterestWhatsApp Facebook Twitter Google+LinkedInPinterestWhatsApp#Bahamas, March 6, 2018 – Grand Bahama – The Ministry of Agriculture & Marine Resources in conjunction with The Bahamas Agricultural & Industrial Corporation (BAIC) partnered with The Inter-America Institute for Corporation on Agriculture (IICA) to host a livestock workshop at the Grand Bahama Arts & Craft Centre, Freeport Grand Bahama on Wednesday 21st February 2018. There were a total of forty participants from throughout Grand Bahama that attended the Livestock Workshop, which was very successful as they were anxious and eager to learn new techniques.Dr. Manuel Sanchez, an industry expert from IICA presented on Livestock Management, Nutrition and Species. These areas were timely as the farmers gain greater knowledge on enhancing the various techniques in the way that they farm. Participants ranged from 25 to 75 years of age. BAIC will continue to create platforms to develop farmers throughout our country.
