Gardai appeal for information following fatal Malin Head fire

first_imgHomepage BannerNews Google+ Pinterest 365 additional cases of Covid-19 in Republic Further drop in people receiving PUP in Donegal Man arrested on suspicion of drugs and criminal property offences in Derry Twitter Gardaí in Inishowen have issued an appeal for information about a fatal house fire which occurred at Carnmalin, Malin Head shortly after midnight yesterday.After emergency services responded to a call and fought the blaze, the body of a 42 year old man was recovered from the house.A post mortem examiniation is taking place today.No other injuries have been reported.There was serious damage caused to the house, and investigations into the cause of the blaze are continuing.Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who were in the Carnmalin / Malin Head area between the hours of 8pm and midnight on Friday 31st October 2014, to contact them at Buncrana Garda Station on 074 9320540, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
