One injured in arson-assault in Ithaca, now under investigation

Police responded to the incident, which took place in a parking lot at the 100 block of Chestnut Street, at approximately at 9 a.m. The victim, unnamed, was then taken to a regional hospital by helicopter. center_img Your Crime & Courts news is made possible with support from: This is an ongoing investigation. In the media release, police provided a photo of its person of interest, though no written descriptors were included in the release. In the picture, the person of interest is wearing dark clothing and has long, dark hair. Police did not state in the release that the person of interest is a suspect of the crime. The press release also did not say if this attack was motivated nor if the person of interest is dangerous.
